- Raised in Berlin, Baden-Baden and Heidelberg
- Escaped compulsory service by moving to Berlin right after school
- Studied Political Science in Berlin since 1988, International Politics in Aberystwyth (1989-1990) and Government in Stockholm (1993-1994)
- Developed the International Crisis Simulation “das krisenspiel” as a tutor for the Freie Universität Berlin
Switch to Communications:
- Trained by the Austrian Socialist Youth how to use computers for politics in late 1994
- Designed a website for “das krisenspiel” in early 1995
- Hired by the Berlin Social Democrats for internet trainings and redesigning their website in 1995
- Employed as webdesigner at Tangens Advertising (later Dynewski PR) in 1996
- Employed as project manager (later as team leader) at Aperto in 1997
- Finally finished studying with a thesis on “Internet as a PR-Instrument” in 1998, examining the chances for using the internet in agenda-building looking at recent election campaigns

- Short political career as speaker of the Berlin Mitte Social Democrats youth organisation, as vice chairman of the Berlin Mitte Social Democrats in this function member of the Social Democrats Berlin land committee
- Employed as communications officer at the German Social Democrats youth organisation in 1999
Switch to Political Communications:
- Founded wegewerk in 2000 starting big, helped by a VC, running into heavy buildup cost
- Co-founded the German Association of Polical Consultants (de’ge’pol) in 2001
- Bought out my VC with a partner taking over summoned debt in 2004, involuntarily bought out my partner in 2010
- Running wegewerk as sole managing director since then, with a workers council since 2011
- Co-founded the German Group in Back-on-Track.eu in 2022
